What a blessing it is to call Ludington home! My early years of teaching were first spent in Southeast Michigan and then down to East Texas, and it was my husband’s work as a Fisheries Biologist that brought us to this beautiful community; I’m so thankful God led us here!
My three children attended LAC and were given an exceptional foundation in faith and education; I am privileged to be a part of this school, giving back and shaping our precious youth. It’s so special to engage with students on their learning journeys. There’s nothing quite like seeing those "aha!" moments when kids make discoveries. I’m passionate about helping students not only grow academically but also spiritually, sharing Christ’s love through Catholic education. Our faith is deep and rich, life-giving, and life changing!
I challenge students to be thinkers and enjoy introducing them to brain-based learning strategies. I hope to inspire them to become lifelong learners who understand that mistakes and failure are all part of the growth process. Helping students find their voice in writing is especially important to me. I strive to encourage them to take risks with words and build confidence in their unique expression.
When I’m not teaching, you’d be likely to find me with my nose in a book, in the Adoration chapel, baking, knitting, walking, or watching Notre Dame football.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us to “Do the Right Thing” as we seek to glorify the Lord in all we do!
