Ludington Area Catholic School, located in scenic Ludington, MI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated upper elementary educator who aspires to be an instructional leader and faith-former. This position will support the school’s academic program by delivering instruction to multiage classrooms in the following ways: 5/6 religion, 5/6 ELA and social science, 7/8 ELA and social science and 5/6 morning homeroom.
While diocesan curriculum standards provide a strong foundation for learning, our educators are encouraged to exercise professional creativity and teacher agency in shaping the classroom experience. Faculty are supported in designing dynamic, student-centered learning environments that foster curiosity, build foundational skills, and help students discover their God-given potential.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a valid Michigan teaching certificate, Certified to teach K-5 ALL SUBJECTS (K-8 ALL SUBJECTS IN SELF-CONTAINED) (ZG) K-8 or a secondary degree (6-8) with English and Social Science endorsements. Practicing Catholic/Christian.

Position: Substitute Teachers Location: Ludington Area Catholic School, Ludington, MI
Hours: As needed General Summary: Substitute teachers assist in filling valuable positions in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Skills required: organized, able to manage a classroom, monitor safety/well-being of students, present classroom content per lesson plans, engage with students in a positive and Christ-like way, follow all classroom and school procedures. Energetic, caring, faith-filled persons, college students (at least 30 credit hours attained) and retirees are encouraged to apply.
